A standard wall outlet charges a Qugo's batterie. To fully recharge the batteries from empty requires 2-3 hours, depending on the type of charger. However, your Qugo may be plugged in to top off its charge at any time.
The Qugo moves by pressing the thumb throttle. It consists of just a small lever that protrudes from the handlebar towards the rider. The Qugo is also equipped with a brake override. The brake override sensors recognize when the throttle and brakes are being pressed at the same time. Thus overriding the throttle command and starts breaking so the vehicle can stop safely.
Yes, The Qugo Road is homologated according to the European whole vehicle type approval 2002/24/EC and therefore it is street legal in Europe and many other countries in the world. Not only on the road, but also on industrial sites or in large warehouses or greenhouses. We recommend that potential purchasers and users check with local government to identify and comply with regulations in their town or city. The Qugo Crossroad isnâ€™t homologated and therefore canâ€™t be used legally on the road.
The Qugo Road has a maximum speed of 25 km/h or 16 Mph. The Qugo Crossroad can be modified to go 30 km/h or 18,5 Mph.
Yes. The Qugo is sealed to allow it to operate in wet weather. We do advise that you keep in mind that the unit is not designed to withstand being submerged in water. Therefore, you should avoid exposing the Qugo to heavy downpours and extended periods of heavy rain.

We encourage you to help preserve our environment by returning your unwanted batteries to the nearest hazmat recycling collection point. Caution: Under no circumstances should batteries be incinerated, as fire can cause an explosion. Wear approved gloves when touching the electrolyte. On exposure to skin, flush with water immediately.
